There was also a live viewing of the primer explanation with the first three episodes of the “Maria Clara at Ibarra” tv series.  It is a recent adaptation of Dr. Rizal’s famous novel “Noli Me Tangere.”  The materials used for the live viewing were provided by Sentro Rizal Filipinas of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in cooperation with GMA Network in the Philippines.

Similar to the theme of Rizal Day 2023, the messages from the literary works of Dr. Rizal continue to be relevant to the experiences of Filipinos at this present time. That is why it is important that future generations of Filipinos continue to learn about Dr. Rizal and his great legacy. END
