PH Embassy in Riyadh Commemorates 128th Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal’s Martyrdom

RIYADH 07 January 2025 – In remembrance of the 128th anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh held a commemoration ceremony at the Embassy under the theme “Rizal sa Bagong Pilipinas: Buhay at Aral, Aming Nilalandas (Rizal in the New Philippines: Life and Teachings, as our Guide).”
The wreath-laying ceremony was led by Chargé d’Affaires,a.i. Rommel Romato and Police Colonel Roger Bilibli. Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Rommel Romato honored the legacy of Dr. Jose Rizal’s contributions to the past and present society while encouraging everyone to emulate Rizal’s determination to utilize one’s abilities for the betterment of oneself and the country. Additionally, the event was attended by officers and staff of the Embassy and its partner agencies.
