PHL Embassy in Washington Conducts Sexual Harassment Prevention Seminar

03 April 2018 WASHINGTON — The Philippines’ Labor Attaché in the United States, Atty. Angela Librado-Trinidad, conducts the first Sexual Harassment Prevention Seminar for the personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. on 27 March 2018, capping the Embassy’s celebration of National Women’s Month. The seminar includes a review of basic Gender and Development concepts; discussion on the root causes, manifestations and consequences of unequal gender relations; and the rules, laws and mechanisms enacted by the Philippine Government to prevent and address sexual harassment in the work place.
