28 July 2016 - On July 24, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, in cooperation with SG Beterinaryo Doctors Bernard Bagsic and Nervy Santiago, conducted a Swine Raising Seminar at the Bayanihan Center.

In line with the Embassy’s thrust to educate OFWs on livelihood programs, the seminar provided practical techniques in swine raising. Commercial Counsellor Glenn Peñaranda also delivered a talk on business opportunities.

The seminar was organized by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office headed by Labor Attache Ramon T. Tionloc, Jr., Asst. Labor Attaché Ramon Lamberto Pastrana, and Welfare Officer Rosanna Siray. Majority of the participants were Household Service Workers (HSWs). END
