04 August 2016—The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conducted on July 30 to 31 its second outreach mission in Houston, Texas for the year.
A total of 659 consular services were rendered to Filipinos in Houston during the two-day consular outreach program, breakdown of which is as follows:

Consul Rea Oreta led the Consulate’s team, which was composed of 3 passport encoders, Mr. Vittorio Palado, Mr. Miguel Belen and Mr. Edgardo Lim, a representative from its civil registry section and legal sections, Mr. Joel Blas, and from dual citizenship section, Ms. Deborah Palado.
On the ground, the team was assisted by the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACC Texas) under the leadership of Atty. Gary Ilagan, State President and Ms. Tess Tuazon, Regional Chair, in coordination with the Philippine Honorary Consul in Texas, Ms. Ethel Mercado.
The Consular Outreach Program is a regular activity of the Consulate to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. END
