08 August 2016—The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extended 17,091 consular services in July 2016.
The Embassy processed 4,839 passport applications, composed of 4,713 passport renewal applications; 95 new passport applications and 31 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 255 passport validity extensions and 108 Travel Documents.
In the same month, the Embassy conducted five consular mobile missions: Buraidah on July 1 to 2, Al Jouf on July 8 to 9, Al Khobar on July 15 to 16, Hail on 22 to 23 July 2016 and special 1-day consular outreach mission in 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh on July 30.
A total of 240 visas were issued by the Embassy in July 2016, 228 of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 12 were Diplomatic Visas (9E).
The Embassy processed 183 civil registry documents in July 2016 broken down into 38 Reports of Marriage; 98 Reports of Birth; and, 47 Reports of Death.
The Embassy also provided a total of 2,381 notarial and authentication services made up of 2,344 notarials and 37 authentications.
Five thousand one hundred sixty-three new passport were released in the same period. END
