25 August 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh conducted its 2nd Consular Mission to the Maldives from August 12 to 13 at the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Malé. A 23% increase in passport and consular services was rendered compared to the last mobile mission to the Maldives in March 2016, thus marking the biannual mission as a success.
The Embassy team also held a meeting with Filipino community representatives in Malé to discuss issues encountered by Filipino workers and shared guidelines that would be helpful during their stay in the Maldives. END
