01 September 2016 – The Philippine Consulate General in Milan together with the International Pro Bono Alliance recently tackled the common legal concerns of overseas Filipinos in Milan.

The dialogue is the first of its kind organized by the Consulate General together with the legal experts from International Pro Bono Alliance.

Atty. Purificacion Bernabe, Atty. Joseph Inocencio, and Atty Michael Tito Sajor of the said organization of lawyers shared their expertise on family law, property law, and on the legal aspects of human trafficking.

Filipinos from Milan and Torino, and the Filipino Women’s League from Bologna attended the event.  They raised several questions on inheritance, annulment of marriage, family concerns, and the acquisition of property among others.

The Consulate General is planning to invite the International Pro Bono Alliance again to Milan for another forum due to the success of the event. END
