05 September 2016—Officials from PLDT and SMART paid a courtesy call on Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz at the Philippine Consulate General on August 26.

PLDT SME Global Solutions Head, AVP and Head of Marketing Mr. Amil Azurin, introduced the products and services available with the Smart Life Global during the meeting.  Smart Life Global is a mobile app powered by PLDT Global and Smart Communication launched for the Los Angeles Filipino-American community.

Consul General Cruz welcomed the group and the services offered by to the Filipino-American community.  He expressed his appreciation for their visit and informed the representatives from PLDT and SMART that the Consulate General continues to support Philippine businesses that aim to expand their operations in the U.S. END
