06 September 2016 — The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka’s Mobile Mission team to Chittagong, Bangladesh headed by Vice Consul and Third Secretary LV de Guzman along with the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Chittagong, met with Officials of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on August 18 to discuss matters regarding the security situation in Chittagong and the status of Filipinos based in the area.

Among the topics discussed were the security measures enforced by the CMP to ensure safety and security in the district and the assistance extended by the CMP to Filipinos based in Chittagong.

The Mobile Mission to Chittagong was organized to enhance services available to Filipinos in Chittagong in the spirit of protecting the rights and promoting the welfare and interest of Filipinos in Bangladesh. END.
