15 September 2016 — The Philippine Embassy Assistance-to-Nationals team paid a courtesy call on the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sri Lanka (MOFA-LK) on August 26 to discuss assistance-to-nationals (ATN) matters and Philippines-Sri Lanka bilateral relations.

The ATN team was received by Director General O.L. Ameer Ajwad of the East Asia & the Pacific Office of MOFA-LK. Both parties showed enthusiasm and reaffirmed commitments in coordinating on issues involving assistance to nationals, bilateral agreements and consultations.

Sri Lanka is among the three countries under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. END
