London Consular

16 September 2016 — The Embassy of the Philippines in London conducted its 7th consular outreach mission for the year in Swansea, Wales on September 03.

The consular outreach provided services to 64 applicants, including 13 British nationals who reacquired their Philippine citizenship, at Sacred Heart Center in Morriston, Swansea.

Consul General Senen Mangalile and Deputy Consul General Myla Grace Macahilig headed the team, which also included London-based representatives of Pag-IBIG and SSS.

SPW leaders Beth Boorman, Eby Minoncia and Letty England thanked the Embassy for visiting Wales, allowing the Filipino community there to access consular services on a weekend and without having to make the four-hour commute to London.

In his response, Consul General Mangalile stated that the Embassy values its partnership with Filipino community organizations in all four countries of the United Kingdom. Collaboration on conducting a consular outreach mission is one concrete manifestation of this partnership, he added. END
