16 September 2016 — Some 30 OFWs attended the 3rd quarterly staging of the financial literacy series, “Money-Wise Public Forum,” on September 04 at the Conference Room of the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR. The Consulate spearheaded the financial talk series in cooperation with Enrich Hong Kong.
Mr. Raul Benjamin Puentespina, Enrich HK’s Head of Financial Education, delivered a lecture on proper financial management and fundamentals of investing. He emphasized the importance of staying debt-free through effective savings and investing method.
An open forum followed the lecture. The participants availed of free one-on-one consultations with Mr. Puentespina and two other Enrich financial advisors.
Philippine Consul General Bernardita L. Catalla, in her brief closing remarks, thanked and lauded the participants for making good use of their time attending the financial literacy lecture on investing. She invited the audience to also attend the 4th session of the public forum which will discuss the topic, Going Home for Good: Mga Bagay na Dapat Planuhin sa Pag-Uwi.
