21 September 2016 — Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. was invited by the Daily Mail Group (DMG) Events for a special tour of The Hotel Show Dubai 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai, U.A.E.

The Hotel Show, organized by DMG Events, is the largest exhibition event for the hospitality industry in the region. It ran from September 17 to19 and showcased the growing hotel, food and services industry in Dubai.

Ambassador Vingno, together with Commercial Attaché Eric C. Elnar and Attaché Meradel April E. Reyes, met with Mr. Andy Stuart, VP for Design and Hospitality Division ME; Mr. Ray Tinston, Portfolio Director; Mr. Gary Williams, Event Manager - Dubai; and Mr. John Suzara, Event Manager – Saudi, who is a Filipino executive with DMG Events.

The DMG Events management team conveyed to the Ambassador their hope to be able to lead a series of international launches in 2017 to drive expansion to new markets. They also shared how they are exploring a pilot of The Hotel Show in Asia in August 2017, with the Philippines as the event’s venue. END
