23 September 2016 — Filipinos from across North Rhine-Westphalia traveled to Essen for the Philippine Embassy’s annual consular outreach in Germany’s ninth-largest city.
The team from the Philippine Embassy in Berlin provided a total of 125 consular services, with the assistance of Ms. Milagros Wandelt of the Philippine Consulate in Essen.
The consular mission was composed of Consul Rona Beth Goce, Mr. Ruben C. Atienza, Ms. Rowena Hernandez, Ms. Lourdes Marie Reyes and Mr. Melchor D. Francisco.
A total of 17 notarial services, four (4) Reports of Birth and four (4) Reports of Marriage, along with 99 passports and one (1) passport extension were processed during the 8-hour consular mission. The venue was courtesy of the Philippine Consulate in Essen.
The Embassy’s online appointment system ensured that most of the applicants were processed within their one-hour appointment window.
Embassy personnel regularly undertakes weekend consular missions as part of the Embassy’s efforts to bring its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in different parts of Germany.
The next consular outreach will be held in Ulm (Baden-Württemberg) on October 15. END
