27 September 2016 — Philippine Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund P. Cortes led the Opening Ceremonies of the 4th Philippine Property and Investment Exhibition (PPIE) 2016.
PPIE is an annual event organized by New Perspectives Media and The Filipino Times to provide Overseas Filipinos and the UAE community a thorough picture of the property investment climate in the Philippines.
The PPIE is the largest property exhibit organized to encourage Filipinos to invest in property development projects in the Philippines. It is part of a UAE-wide campaign to provide Filipinos a greater sense of financial literacy.
Consul General Cortes emphasized, in his Opening Remarks, that property investment is one of the most important reasons why Filipinos seek employment overseas. Along with education, purchasing homes and properties ranks as a main reason behind the hard work of many overseas Filipinos.
The event’s exhibitors include Ayala Land, SMDC, The Ortigas Company, Megaworld, Pag-IBIG, SSS, and many other banking institutions. END
