27 September 2016 — The ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM), composed of the diplomatic missions of ASEAN member countries -- Brunei Darussalam, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Singapore and the Kingdom of Thailand, organized a bowling tournament for the 2016 ASEAN Sports Day at the Oman Bowling Center in Muscat on 17 September 2016.

Seventeen (17) three-member teams, composed of players of different nationalities, competed in the two-game format open tournament.  Awards were given to the top three teams in the male and female categories.

The ASEAN Sports Day is an annual event which was initiated in 2012 and aims to promote friendship and camaraderie among the members of the ASEAN community in Oman. END
