28 September 2016 – Mr. Hervé de Maillard took his oath of office before Philippine Ambassador to France Maria Theresa Lazaro as the newest among the roster of Philippine Honorary Consuls in France at the Embassy in Paris on September 27.

Consul de Maillard, a prominent French businessman based in Lyon, will serve as Honorary Consul for an initial term of three years. The Philippine Consulate in Lyon, has consular jurisdiction over Ain, Allier, Ardèche, Creuse, Drôme, Haute-Loire, Haute-Savoie, Isère, Jura, Loire, Puy-de-Dôme, Rhône, Saône-et-Loire, and Savoie. END
