The Filipino Veterans Foundation (FVF) is a non-profit organization, founded under the auspices of the ERB Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California. The mission of the Filipino Veterans Foundation is to improve the quality of life of the disadvantaged mature individual, promote health and wellness in his community, and to honor and preserve his legacy and contributions. Since November 1, 2002, the Filipino Veterans Foundation began providing services at the Los Angeles County Bob Hope Patriotic Hall.

In his remarks, Consul General Cruz assured the veterans of the Consulate’s continued support for Filipino-American WWII veterans. One of the first improvements implemented at the Consulate is having a dedicated window for WW II veterans, senior citizens and persons with disability availing consular services. The goal is to decrease their queuing and waiting time.  Consul General Cruz also assured the veterans that their concerns about their loans and pensions will also be relayed to the appropriate government agencies in the Philippines for their response and attention.
