03 October 2016 – Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Wilfredo C. Santos visited Figaro Coffee Company’s latest overseas outlet on September 29 as it finally opens in Qatar.

Figaro Coffee Company is a Filipino chain of coffee shops and restaurants, which was established in November 1993. It aims, among others, to promote coffee made from freshly-roasted beans sourced from different parts of the Philippines, such as Batangas, Mountain Province, Kalinga, Ifugao, Benguet, Cavite, Negros, Davao, Sulu and Basilan.

“The establishment of a franchise of Figaro in Qatar strengthens our economic diplomacy initiative of promoting Philippine brands in the country. Figaro also promotes a Filipino-style of coffee experience that can rival similar international brands. I invite our kababayans in Qatar to support and patronize Figaro.
