05 October 2016 — Philippine brand jewelry and accessories dazzled enthusiasts in the various fashion jewelry fairs held in Hong Kong recently. The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR actively supported the 16 Filipino exhibitors at the Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair held on September 13-16 at the Asia World Expo, and the one exhibitor at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair held on September 13-19 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Both fairs were organized by UBM Asia Ltd.
At the Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair, the Filipino exhibitors who featured their products included Symphony Creations Inc. Blue Planet Incorporated, Touch Wood Fashion Accessories, Ultimate Fashion Design and Accents, Inc., This Side Up Designs, Inc., Megabijoux Incorporated, Unijel International Trading Inc., Floreia by CVD Ventures Inc., Almar Fashion Accessories, Cara Export Trading International, Alpaz Export Corporation, ABS International Corp., Anjo Accessories Inc., G Designare Manufacturing Philippines, Earth Works Fashion Accessories Corp., and Cyprea International Corp. The exhibited products included bead (plastic, wood, natural material, shell, glass); gold- and silver-plated, pewter, enamel, feather as well as simulated gemset or synthetic jewelry. Also on display were handbags, wallets, purses, belts and accessories, gifts and premium items, hair accessories, headwear, and other display materials.
At the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, the lone Filipino exhibitor was Jewelmer Joaillerie, which is known for its golden South Sea Pearls.
The Philippine Consulate General actively promotes trade and investments between the Philippines and Hong Kong by establishing market linkages with the Hong Kong Trade and Industry Department, Hong Kong Economic Trade Offices, Invest Hong Kong, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, chambers of commerce and other business associations in Hong Kong. The Consulate extends export assistance to Philippine companies, sectors and industries in fairs and trade expos and provides business matching services that will facilitate trade with Hong Kong.
