06 October 2016 — The Philippine Embassy in Muscat reported a good turnout at its second consular outreach mission in Salalah, Oman last September 30. Some overseas Filipinos turned up to avail of various consular and related services. 

The consular team, composed of officers and staff from the Embassy including the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Social Security System (SSS) and the visiting group from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), rendered services on passport renewal, civil registration, notarials, OWWA, SSS and PhilHealth membership concerns, and assistance in registering for Overseas Employment Certifications (OEC).

An informal briefing on the Embassy’s services was also held during the outreach event.

The Embassy last conducted a consular outreach and mobile voting in Salalah on April 15 this year. END
