SF Milpitas 1

07 October 2016 — The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco conducted a consular mission on, September 25, at the Seasons Marketplace in Milpitas, California.

Led by Vice Consul Carlyn A. Monastrial, the Consulate was able to process the following services:  eighty-two (82) passport renewals; sixty 60 acknowledgements; twenty-four 24 authentications; one (1) affidavit, and one (1) report of birth and thirty-one (31) reacquisition of citizenship.

The eight-person team was assisted by volunteers from the Filipino-American Community, headed by Mr. Gorjius Castillo, who assisted the team in pre-processing of documents and maintaining order in the course of the outreach.

As in the previous month’s outreach in Milpitas, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, represented by Mr. Richard Yum, presented the Filipino World War II Veterans Parole Program to the Community and assisted with issues regarding citizenship and immigration.
