10 October 2016 – Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz paid a courtesy call on Consul General Key Cheol Lee of the Korean Consulate General in Los Angeles, on October 05. 

The call served an opportunity for both officials to recall the history of the rich bilateral relations between Korea and the Philippines. They also shared their views on the economic developments of their respective countries.

Consul General Lee highlighted the support of the Philippines during the Korean War.

Consul General Cruz conveyed the Philippine government’s appreciation for Korea’s support on the Arbitral Tribunal’s decision on the West Philippine Sea. END
