11 October 2016 — Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales joined his counterparts in the diplomatic corps to congratulate the winners of the Singapore Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Awards held at the Istana on October 04. The awards recognize individuals for their artistic excellence, as well as their contribution and commitment to Singapore's arts and cultural landscape.

This year’s Cultural Medallion winners were conferred by President Tony Tan Keng Yam includes artist Koh Mun Hong and singer Nona Asiah. The recipients of the Young Artist Award are visual artist Alecia Neo; installation and performance artist Ezzam Rahman; actor, playwright and director Liu Xiaoyi; and Marc Nair and Pooja Nansi, 35, who are both writers and poets. The Young Artist Awards were conferred by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu. END
