17 October 2016 – The Philippine Consulate General in Agana led by Consul General Marciano R. de Borja welcomed the 15-member crew of the newly acquired aircraft of the Philippine Air Force PAF-5040-C130T during its arrival in Guam for an overnight technical stop-over on October 08.

The crew was led by Aircraft Commander, LTC Jason Rom J. Lacida. The aircraft landed in Andersen Air Force Base at about 4:00 in the afternoon after a 13-hour flight from Honolulu, Hawaii with a short stop-over in Wake Island.

The aircraft left Guam the following day, October 09, at around 5:00 PM for Mactan Air Base in Cebu. END
