Honolulu security

19 October 2016 — Four Philippine participants of the Daniel K. Inouye — Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) attending the 2016 Advanced Security Cooperation Course (ASC 16-2), paid a courtesy call on Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin on October 12.

The Advanced Security Cooperation Course is a five-week course designed for mid-career and senior security practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific Region. The course aims to enhance the capability of each participant in the areas of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and decision-making in complex and culturally- diverse environments.

The overall aim of the ASC is to enable participants to better understand the Asia-Pacific Region’s security problems and to empower them to initiate cooperation with their Asia- Pacific counterparts to address these problems. END
