19 October 2016 – The Philippine Consulate General’s bowling teams won 1st Place and 3rd Place in the 3rd ASEAN Women Circle of Los Angeles (AWCLA) Bowling Tournament held at the AMF Bowling Square Lanes in Arcadia, California on October 16.
The Philippines landed at 1st place for the third consecutive year in the said annual bowling tournament. Malaysia won the 2nd Place in the tournament.
The Bowling Tournament was organized by the ASEAN Women Circle of Los Angeles (AWCLA) as part of its year-long program for 2016 under the leadership of Mme. Nila Umar Hadi. Bowling teams from the Consulates General of Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Philippines participated in this friendly competition.
The Bowling Tournament was followed by a picnic at the Arcadia County Park. END
