20 October 2016 —Ambassador Jesus S. Domingo led the Philippine Embassy Mobile Consular Team composed of Vice Consul Glenn Joseph Obach and Ms. Ma. Victoria Reyes in conducting a consular services outreach mission for the benefit of Filipinos in Samoa from October 04 to 05.

The mobile consular mission is in line with the Embassy’s commitment to reach out to the Filipino communities in New Zealand and in the Pacific countries under its jurisdiction.   

The Filipino community in Samoa, now estimated at around 200, expressed their great appreciation for this undertaking as it provided them access to the Philippine Embassy’s services without travelling to New Zealand. Facilities for the mission were provided by Lope and Melody Arevalo, owners of Bay Walk Food Hauz, and coordinated by Ms. Josefina Suafa Atimalala, President of the Pilipino in Samoa Organization (PISO).
