20 October 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Berlin conducted a mobile consular outreach service in Ulm on October 17.
The Embassy team was composed of Consul Adrian Cruz, Mr. Ruben Atienza, Ms. Mylah Rubio, Ms. Maria Cecilia Estrella and Mr. Armand Mahinay, and was supported by the Filipino Catholic Church Community of Ulm, headed by Ms. Lyn Schebesta.
Using a pre-registration system, the consular team provided a total of 130 consular services, which included 107 ePassport renewal services, eight civil registry applications, and other assorted consular applications.
The outreach was held at the Church of St. Michael (Kirche St. Michael zu den Wengen), located close to the historic Ulm Minster in Baden-Württemberg. The consular mission is part of the Philippine Embassy’s continuing efforts to bring its consular services closer to Filipinos residing in the more distant locations of Germany.
The last consular outreach mission for the year will take place at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Munich on November 12. END
