21 October 2016 — Officials of the American Red Cross of Los Angeles (ARCLA) paid a courtesy call on Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz in Los Angeles on October 10.

The ARCLA and the Consulate have a partnership to provide assistance and service to families separated by conflict, disaster or other circumstances, to meet the disaster-caused, emergency needs of the residents and guests of the Los Angeles region, and support readiness, humanitarian, and aware activities, including sharing information and participating in educational and awareness.

During the meeting, Consul General Cruz and the ARCLA has agreed to conduct a disaster preparedness for the Filipino American community this November 2016. END
