24 October 2016 — Filipino-American members of the U.S. Army Recruitment Command (USARC) paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito Cruz on October 13.

The group included recruitment officers who cover Los Angeles, Torrance, Simi Valley, Culver City and Carson. They shared information on the U.S. Army recruitment process, benefits and opportunities.  The group hopes that more Filipino Americans would take advantage of the opportunities in the U.S. Army in improving their lives and reaching their goals. 

Consul General Cruz, who is an advocate of youth empowerment and veterans’ welfare, encouraged their campaign and committed to support their advocacy through the Consulate’s information dissemination platforms. END
