27 October 2016 —Thirty-nine Philippine exhibitors participated in this year’s International Tourism Bazaar (ITB) Asia at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from October 19 to 21.

The three-day event featured business-to-business trade show and convention for the travel industry designed after its parent event –ITB Berlin. ITB Asia 2016 was organized by Messe Berlin Singapore Pte. Ltd. and was supported by the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau.

This year’s ITB Asia was considered to be the biggest since the event was launched nine years ago. A representative of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore joined officials from the PHL Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) and the PHL tourism marketing representative office in Singapore Pacific Leisure Pte. Ltd. in welcoming the Philippine exhibitors. El Nido Resorts made a video presentation to share the company’s policies and experiences on responsible and sustainable tourism. END
