08 November 2016 — Nine (9) Filipino infants were among the one hundred and twenty-four (124) applicants for ePassports during the consular outreach conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Rome in the city of Salerno, southern Italy from November 05 to 06.
The consular outreach team, led by Consul General Adrian Bernie Candolada, processed a total of one hundred and sixty-four (164) applications for membership or renewal of membership in the Overseas Workers Welfare Fund and Social Security Service, and forty-seven (47) various applications for notarial services.
There were also seven (7) former Filipino citizens who took their oath of allegiance to complete the process of their reacquisition of Philippine citizenship.
The consular outreach mission to Salerno was the 15th for the year conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Rome. It was organized in cooperation with the Philippine honorary consulate in Napoli, headed by Consul Francesca Giglio. END
