10 November 2016 -  Philippine Ambassador to The Hague, Jaime Victor B. Ledda held the first meeting of the ASEAN-The Hague Committee (ATHC) with the Philippines as Chair.  In attendance were heads of posts of four (4) resident ASEAN diplomatic missions in The Hague, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.  A minute of silence in homage to the late King Bhumibol of Thailand preceded the meeting which discussed and followed through various ATHC projects and proposed end-of-the year activities aimed to strengthen ASEAN collaboration with the Dutch Government and to increase ASEAN awareness among stakeholders in both government, international organizations, academic/research institutions and members of the local community.  Ambassador Ledda chairs ATHC until March 2017.
