14 November 2016 -  Philippine Ambassador to Rome Domingo P. Nolasco hands over envelopes containing cash assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to two Filipino quake victims from the town of Amatrice in Marche region, central Italy. Ambassador Nolasco is joined by Consul General Adrian Bernie Candolada, Labor Attache Ponciano Ligutom, Welfare Officer Hector Cruz, and Social Welfare Attache Priscilla Razon. The Philippine Embassy in Rome also gave 10 displaced Filipino families from the town of Norcia temporary shelter in Rome as a result of the 6.6 magnitude earthquake which struck central Italy on October 30.
