17 November 2016 – Eight Filipinos undergoing their advanced Italian language lessons under a Philippine-Italian technical cooperation program visited the Philippine Embassy in Rome on November 11 during their four-week immersion in Italy.
The cooperation is between the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Italia Lavoro, an Italian government agency that facilitates technical assistance on employment in Italy.
The eight Filipinos will become trainers who will teach the Italian language in TESDA accredited centers in the Philippines for individuals who will migrate to Italy.
The eight future trainers started the year-long language program in November 2015 and are expected to graduate on November 19. END
