22 November 2016 — The Philippines and Norway co-chaired the final meeting of Sub-Group 1 of the Working Group on Governance at UNESCO headquarters.

Following two meetings in June and September, a final meeting of Sub-Group 1 was held todiscuss draft recommendations on reform of the General Conference and the Executive Board. The outcome of Sub-Group 1 shall be submitted to the Open-Ended Working Group, chaired by the President of the UNESCO General Conference H.E. Stanley Simataa of Namibia, which will meet on December 15. END
