23 November 2016 — Philippine Consul General to New York Theresa Dizon-De Vega was the main guest of the “I Am Pinoy, Proud Ako” show on November 20.

Joining the show’s hosts Joel Inocencio and Ethel Cantor Constantino, Consul General Dizon-De Vega spoke about the plans and programs of the Consulate General in New York in the coming year, advocacies for Filipino-American WWII veterans, developments in the Philippines and extending assistance to Filipino and Filipino-American nationals in the U.S. Northeast Region.

The program which airs live on Facebook has been around for about five months and yet has already developed a steady following. Aside from New York-based guests, the show has already featured interviews with senior officials of the Philippine Government such as DOJ Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, PNP Director General Ronaldo dela Rosa, National Youth Commission Chair Aiza Seguerra, and Film Development Council of the Philippines Chair Mary Liza Diño, among others.
