24 November 2016 — The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conducted a two-day consular outreach program in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. from November 19 to 20.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Texas and the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACC Texas) under the leadership of Honorary Consul Ethel Mercado and PACC Texas Regional Chair Ms. Tess Tuazon.
A total of six hundred thirty-five (635) consular services were rendered during the consular outreach program, the breakdown of which is as follows:

The applicants expressed their appreciation to the consular outreach team and PACC Texas volunteers since the conduct of consular outreach services in Houston, Texas saved them time and money as they no longer had to travel all the way to Los Angeles, CA to avail of consular services.
Led by Consul Joy Ramirez, the consular outreach team was accompanied by Mme. Clarissa Limpin, Mme. Ma. Melchora Tagle, Mme. Salvacion Georgina Omaga, and Mme. Mari Santera and Messrs. Mindaradat Mamad and Jonathan Heartchie Tamayo.
The Consular Outreach Program is a regular activity of the Consulate General to bring its various services closer to its constituents residing in areas within its jurisdiction. END
