29 November 2016 — The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore conducted a Pig and Chicken Farming Seminar at the Philippine Bayanihan Centre at Pasir Panjang Singapore on November 20.
The seminar is part of a series that POLO is spearheading as part of its work program for OFWs. The seminar was co-organized by Beterinaryo SG/Filipino Veterinarians in Singapore and Tetra Consulting Group.
Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales thanked POLO and its co-organizers for pooling their resources together for the seminar. He also recognized the enthusiasm of the participants in acquiring new ideas that they could use to foster an alternative source of livelihood to sustain themselves and their families back in the Philippines.
