29 November 2016 — Thirty-five (35) students which comprise the first batch of the Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) Programme of the Ateneo School of Government graduated from their training at the NUSS Suntec Guild House on November 20.

The LSE Program was launched in May and is conducted at the Philippine Bayanihan Centre Singapore.

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales and representatives of the Philippine Embassy joined officials of the LSE Program and Ateneo School of Government led by Dr. Mary Jean Caleda in the ceremony to congratulate the successful graduates.

In his remarks, Ambassador Morales recognized the unique nature of the LSE Programme, which also gives emphasis on teaching trainees social responsibility on top of lessons on entrepreneurship. He also thanked the officials behind the LSE Programme and the Philippine Bayanihan Centre headed by Mr. Ranvir Kumar Singh for coming together to realize the initiative. END
