05 December 2016 – President and CEO of Travellers International Hotel Group (TIHG) Mr. Kingson Sian, paid a courtesy call on Philippine Consul General to Agana Marciano R. De Borja, with the aim of exploring business opportunities in Guam.  

As part of the Consulate General’s economic diplomacy efforts, Consul General de Borja provided the group with information on Guam’s business and investment climate.  According to data, Guam’s tourism industry is the island’s biggest industry generating $1.4 billion for the economy and 18,000 jobs, representing 60% of annual business revenues and over 30% of non-federal jobs on Guam.
