06 December 2016 — The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, headed by Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, hosted the 4th annual consular and economic diplomacy consultations at the newly acquired chancery in Ottawa.
Senior officials from the Philippine Consulates in Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver headed by Consul General Julius Torres, Rosalita Prospero, and Neil Frank Ferrer, respectively, joined representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs' Office of American Affairs and Office of Consular Affairs led by Assistant Secretary Maria Andrelita Austria and Executive Director Angie Escalona, respectively at this annual policy consultation and planning meeting.
