09 December 2016 – Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Wilfredo C. Santos met with Staff Brigadier Ali A. S. Al-Bedeed, the Director General of the Coasts and Borders Security in Doha on November 29.

Director General Al-Bedeed welcomed Ambassador Santos, who was accompanied by First Secretary and Consul General Roussel Reyes and Cultural Attache John Jiao.

Ambassador Santos thanked Director General Al-Bedeed for the continued hospitality that has been extended to Filipinos in Qatar and stressed the interest of the Philippines in enhancing cooperation between the two countries. For his part, Director General Al-Bedeed expressed his appreciation for the skill and abilities of the Filipinos who work in Qatar.

In a gesture of goodwill and friendship, Director General Al-Bedeed invited Ambassador Santos to meet the Filipinos who work for the Coasts and Border Security. END
