09 December 2016 — The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, in partnership with UNTV, commemorated Bonifacio Day through a Film Showing of the movie “Isang Araw Lang” at the Modul University in One Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai on November 30.

The movie is about an upright jeepney driver and how he continues to inspire the people in his community to do good despite all the odds. The movie hopes to inculcate a sense of hope and aspiration among overseas Filipinos, presenting to them a renewal of confidence in the Filipino and what he is able to contribute to the global community.

The film showing was attended by some 150 guests from different Filipino Community Organizations and teachers from Philippine schools. Part 2 and Part 3 of the film is already underway.END
