15 December 2016 — More than 700 guests gathered to attend the Annual Christmas Get-Together of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta and the Filipino Community in Jakarta at the Philippine Embassy grounds last November 27.  the Embassy and the Filipino Community organizations conducted fund-raising activities to support the families of police officers and soldiers who lost their lives in the call of duty.

Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Maria Lumen B. Iseta formally opened the event by conveying her greetings for the holiday season.  Ambassador Isleta also thanked the leaders and members of various Filipino community organizations in Indonesia not only for attending the get-together but, most importantly, for their cooperation in the implementation of Philippine Embassy’s various programs and activities.

The Christmas program followed with a string of performances from the Filipino community.
