02 December 2016 – The Philippine Embassy in Rome resumed the overseas voter registration on December 01, in accordance with COMELEC regulations.

The ongoing overseas voter registration is conducted in preparation for the May 2019 National Elections. The registration period will run from December 01, 2016 to September 30, 2018.

Qualified voters must be Philippine citizens who are at least 18 years old on the day of the election.

Interested registrants must bring their valid Philippine passport. Dual citizens must bring their original or certified true copy of Order of Approval for Dual Citizenship or their Identification Certificates issued by the Bureau of Immigration.

Overseas absentee voting registration services are available at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy. The Philippine Embassy in Rome encourages all qualified voters to register. END
