06 December 2016 — The Philippine Embassy in Brasília, Brazil, under the leadership of Ambassador Jose D.R. Burgos, kicked off the continuing registration of qualified overseas voters on December 01.

Ms. Chona Santo Tomas Sapico was the first overseas voter to be registered at the Embassy upon the resumption of the overseas voting registration.

In attendance during Ms. Sapico´s voter registration were Ambassador Burgos and some Embassy officials, as well as some staff who were deputized by the COMELEC to conduct the continuing registration of overseas voters. END
