22 December 2016 - Jollibee, the leading fastfood chain in the Philippines opened its 4th Branch in Riyadh located at The Square Complex in the 2nd Industrial City in Riyadh on December 12.
The opening ceremony was attended by First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal and the management of Nessma United Ltd, the franchise company operating all Jollibee stores in the Kingdom, led by Mr. Faisal Y. Bamhrez, General Manager and Mr. Ronel G. Nape, Operations Manager.
Currently, there are 12 Jollibee branches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The first Jollibee branch was opened in 2008 at the Jeddah International Market (Sarawat). Since then, the expansion of the famous Filipino fastfood chain continued around Saudi Arabia which include branches in Al Batha and Sulaymania in Riyadh, Al Ramaniyah in Al Khobar and in Khalediyah, Jeddah International Market and Balad in Jeddah. Other branches are located in Jubail, Taif and Yanbu.
Nesma United Ltd. aims to open one more Jollibee branch before the end of 2016 and at least two (2) branches every year. Simultaneously, the company will also open Chowking branches in the Kingdom beginning 2017.
During his welcome remarks, Mr. Bamhrez expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Filipino community for their steadfast support to all Jollibee stores in the Kingdom. Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal, for her part, conveyed her appreciation to Jollibee and Nesma United Ltd. for bringing Jollibee to Saudi Arabia. END
